#1 COMMA FESTIVAL – Final Projects Master Choreography, Rotterdam, NL

The Master Choreography – COMMA (a joint degree between Fontys in Tilburg and Codarts in Rotterdam) is proud to present the Final Projects of its first graduating cohort. From 30 June – 7 July, 2019 fourteen makers and choreographers from dance, circus arts, dance education and community arts will present their new works in various locations throughout Rotterdam under the banner of the #1 COMMA FESTIVAL.

For two years these fourteen makers and choreographers have been part of a community of creative and reflective artists. A community where craftsmanship, co-creation, reflection, artistic research, reflection, vision, signature, leadership, and innovation are key motivators for change.

This exciting initiative aims to presents within the wider scope of the Dutch performing arts and higher education the vision of COMMA and its current cohort. But most importantly the festival gives this first cohort of COMMA a platform for their new work to be seen and performed.

Come and join us in Rotterdam where creators, stakeholders, performers, co-creators and the working field will come together in a week of discovery, performance, dance, circus and sharing.
